If you live in the Salt Lake valley, you've likely heard of the Wood Connection. It is a store that sells raw wood products for you to decorate how you want! They also sell pre-made decorations, but most people I know love to create their own.

Even if you don't live in Salt Lake or Utah, you can still use wood to make some fun projects. Most craft stores sell vinyl lettering and designs, or if you have or know someone with a Cricut, you could make any words, initials, designs, etc. You could easily get some wood from a Lowe's or Home Depot, cut it into blocks, and create away! For my spring blocks, I painted them, modge podge scrapbook paper onto them, and attached the vinyl letters. Easy, unique, and cute!
