My friend shared this recipe on my recipe blog and I gave it a try this week. Let me tell you, it is delicious!
Here's what you need:
3 bags white chocolate chips
2 C Peanut Butter
7 C Rice Krispies
5 C Mini Marshmallows
1 Bag sm chocolate chips
1/4 c butter
I started out with melting my white chocolate in the microwave. You'll notice mine is not all chocolate chips. We had some white baking chocolate laying around, so I decided to be cost effective and use that. Same thing, right? I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring it between each interval.
At the same time, I was melting the 1/4 cup of butter on the stove in preparation to add the marshmallows.
Once the butter was melted, I added the mini marshmallows to melt them, stirring frequently.
Once the white chocolate was melted, I added the two cups of peanut butter and stuck that in the microwave for 30 seconds.
When I had that mixed well, I added half a bag of chocolate chips. Again, I put these in the microwave for 30 seconds.
In the meantime, I had put my seven cups of rice krispies in a large bowl.
I added the melted marshmallows...
And then I added the chocolate/peanut butter mixture.
I stirred it all up.
Then I pressed it into a greased pan with a greased spatula.
Once it was all pressed in, I sprinkled chocolate chips on top. Mini chocolate chips would look cuter, but all I had were regular ones.
Let them set and enjoy! Delicious!
