Last week, my sister in law's sister had a de-lurk day on her blog. I figured today would be a good time to do that here since I don't have a tutorial scheduled! (Don't worry, I've got one for next week, but I just didn't have time to take pictures AND get it all posted by this morning. Good things come to those who wait.)
So all you lurkers out there (I know there's a lot; I have google analytics!) time to come out of hiding!
Ask a question! Tell me something about yourself! Share how you found my blog! Give me a suggestion! Tell me how awesome I am! (Okay, you don't really have to do that....unless you want to.)
I'd love to get to know my readers a bit better, and welcome any ideas to make this blog better.
Start de-lurking! (Please, so I don't feel silly for asking and then nobody does it.)
PS - Sorry for all the parentheses in this post!
Hi there, I am Nikki and I found your site from Simply Crafting's site. http://chelstamps.blogspot.com/2009/08/fun-amazing-link-parties.html

Hi! I am Cate from Random Crafty Georgia Girl. I don't remember how I found your blog. I love it! You are awesome! Haha! Anyways, I have lived in Georgia for two years and I love it. I am on blog vacation for a little bit. I have way too much to catch up on, but I will return after Labor Day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute blog post idea! Hmmmm.......what can I tell you?? I love homemade cookie dough - it's my nemesis, I'm married to a police officer and I am not a huge fan of vegetables. :)
ReplyDeleteHey there! I'll join the ranks of new followers! I can't remember exactly where I found you, Sew Much Ado We Did it Wednesday, probably, if I had to guess. But then again, who knows! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I found your blog a couple of months ago through a link party list.
ReplyDeleteI'm Kristi From The Speckled Dog (http://thespeckleddog.blogspot.com/) and I think you are totally awesome!! ha ha
Hi I'm Melissa, I can't remember how I found your blog. I was looking at a friends blog one day, and just started jumping from blog to blog, and jumped to yours and hung around! I love reading your tutorials! In fact, I think you might have had one about turning a tank or tee into a dress for a little girl, by adding a couple rows of ruffles to the bottom. I made that one! I have several of your tutorials in my DIY want to do file. Thanks for sharing!

Hi! I'm Grace, i don't think I've commented before, but I've been subscribed to your blog ever since I came across it! I love the tutorials, sponsors, everything--it's one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteHello, I am Stacey and found your blog from another blog but not sure which one, maybe Be Different Act Normal? I am a mom to two little guys and have discovered sewing in the last year and LOVE LOVE LOVE creating new things from old things. I love all of your cute ideas and enjoy reading about your adventures!
ReplyDeleteOk, you caught me! I've been a lurker for a while. You're in my must read everyday blogs in my Google Reader. I love to see all your projects!
ReplyDeleteI'd love it if you stop by and visit me sometime.

I have a little of everything, so be sure and check out my sections.
This is a great idea! I wouldn't say I'm a lurker. 'Cause I'm way too loud for that! But I do LOVE your blog and just wanted to say hi!
ReplyDeleteI love de-lurker day! What a great idea. Your blog is one of the first craft blogs that I started to follow when I became obsessed with craft blogs late last year. I probably found you by going from one blog link to another and spending hours upon wasted hours searching for crafty inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWe've e-mailed before so you know my love of DMB (and my stalker thoughts). I taught myself how to sew back in middle school and haven't really stopped yet. I hate paying for fabric though, so I am big into repurposing, especially garage sale finds (another one of my obsessions). Our family fell into an opportunity last September to be the "models" for the Kelty line of camping gear that is offered nationwide at Target. Yep, head in to your Target and look at the tent or sleeping bag boxes and you will see me and my family. Except they only wanted a family of four and we have five, so you will never see all five of us on a box at one time. :)
You can come visit me and see more of my goodies at http://www.holy-craft.blogspot.com
Hope you like the hot mess headband.

ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying your blog and have linked up a few times, too!
My name is Carleen and I found your blog another blog but unsure of what one. I've been a lurker for a while and love everything that you post. I'm subscribe through Google reader and usually can't wait to read.
ReplyDeleteI like how you copy my idea but didn't even de-lurk on my post!! Jerkface.
ReplyDelete(totally teasing)
I found your blog through your private blog :) And I think you do great stuff on here!
Hi! I can't remember how I found your blog, but I put it on my blog roll if that's ok? I think it was through Tip Junkie? I just don't know, but it doesn't matter now.
ReplyDeleteI like to scrapbook, cook, craft and anything to do with kids. I am stay at home mom for one lucky 3 year old boy. I'm married and live in AZ.
I like to read blogs for inspiration, and yours is pretty cool I must admit. I must admit that I don't comment enough because I read all my blogs in reader, and then I forget. I am trying to be better at this, that's why I put you on my blog roll.
Thanks for having me, have a great day!
Regan
Hi! I'm not a lurker because I just found your blog, but I wanted to say hello anyway!
ReplyDeleteDe-lurking sounds much better then stalking :)
ReplyDeleteI have been lurking for a while...I was in your parents ward in Klamath Falls years ago. You were already at college,I met you a few times but I doubt you remember.
Your Mother is the kindest person ever. I enjoy your ideas!
Hey! Im Sara and I am a 25 year old stay at home mommy!! My husband had been laid off for a little over a year and he just started a new job last week, so I am hoping to put a lot of wonderful crafting ideas into action! A friend actually recommended me this website around Christmas time.. and that got the itch going!! I love the blog and hope to be able to figure out how to make my own soon! I would love to get in on this crafting world I have fallen in love with!! Thank you for the blog, I love it!!! <3
ReplyDeleteHi! My name is Amber, and I am the author of 3 different blogs. I have a small etsy shop where I sell my jewelry. I actually found your blog while hopping around blogland looking for a blog party or 2 to join. (I'm number 227 on yours). I actually linked in rather late last evening, but I was so intrigued by all your blog has to offer that I left your page open in my browser so I wouldn't forget to come right back this morning! I'm loving all the stuff I have been reading, and I am definitely going to be a devoted follower! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through Nestled in Rosenberg and YES I do think you're quite awesome and apparently so do the other 1209 followers you have not to mention the LURKERS! lol
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower, and hope to come up with something crafty to do so I can join your parties.
BTW I think the wittiest read dwells between parentheses.
I'll be back soon!!!
Hi! I'm Miranda. I can't remember how I found your blog, but I think you did a blog swap with someone. Anyway, doesn't matter now. I love your blog! You have lots of great ideas here. :o)
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm Crystal. I was in the El Ed program at BYU with Britney Mendel, that's how I found your blog. I'm amazed how organized you are, even with a new baby! Way to go! :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Sumo! Michelle L. here, I am a fan of your fun blog and parties. I have to declare this de-lurking idea is genius. Your girls are the cutest little sweeties ever, and I love the dresses from the last post!
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea!! I am sure you have seen me lurking around then.
ReplyDeleteI found you at a blog party a while back, not sure what one. I love looking at your blog for inspiration and sewing ideas. I am fairly new to sewing and love it so that's what I look for.
Interesting fact about me: I am left handed and completely absolutely obsessed with Dave Matthews Band.
I'm Beth (or Bee) and I'm not sure how I stumbled across your blog either, probably lurking on someone else's blog! I love crafting, I teach pre-school, and I'm a habitual blog lurker.
ReplyDeleteI learned of your blog through Dani...but I can never remember if she's your sis or sis-in-law. Anyway, we knew each other in Oregon. I like to look at all your crafty ideas, but I have yet to figure out how to throw some into my routine without neglecting everything else. Darn that laundry!!
ReplyDeleteHonestly I don't remember How I found your blog. Just one of those days when I was bored and randomly clicking through on other blogs.
ReplyDeleteI am glad I found you however, I have done a few of the recipes, and crafts. I love baking and doing crafts so I was hooked.
I check it every morning, it is a good way to start my day.
One neat thing that always gets mostly kids excited about me is that I am a Christmas baby. I always tell kids that Santa Brought me to my family on Christmas in his Sleigh.
Love your Blog!
Hi! I am a new follower to your blog :) I am not sure how I found it, I think maybe through a link party. I have a 23 month old and am a stay at home mom. I have always been crafty and love making stuff (although I am new to sewing) so I love getting ideas from other crafty moms :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you come up with your blog name?
I can't remember where I saw you first, but I rememeber (before I even started my blog) that you had such a cute haircut in your picture, and I was planning on getting one just like it, so I emailed you and asked you what hair products you used to make your hair look so dang cute! You were precious and emailed back and I just loved that. Now I linky up with you...funny how it all comes full circle sometimes. :)
ReplyDeletei dunno how i found your blog. but i sure like it! i'm a wife... i'm a mom to three adult daughters, my youngest just moved out and turned 18, so i'm a 40 year old empty nester and trying to figure out what to do now that i'm "grown up". :)
