.:Mouth-Watering Wednesday - Chocolate Covered Bacon:.

Go here to enter the Becca Winslow HandStamped Jewelry giveaway.

Yep, that's right. Chocolate covered bacon.

Can you just feel the fatness coming on already?

We made this for a special treat while I was home in Oregon.

I've been known to eat a Maple Bacon bar or two when my sister used to live in Portland and we would visit VooDoo Doughnuts.

That's a great combo, and so is this. It is very rich, and I could only eat one piece, but it was a fun, unique treat to have!

Pretty straightforward:

1. Get some bacon. You'll want it thick! Cook it!

2. Get some almond bark.

3. Melt the almond bark. We used a casserole dish so that it was easy to dip the entire piece of bacon.

4. Dip your bacon using tongs or forks.

5. Lay it out to dry on wax paper.

6. Enjoy.

  7. This is cracking me up! We have a little chocolate bacon fan group at church--not official, but they talk about it on Facebook a lot--lol. I love bacon, so I would love to try this. Right now I'm on a diet for my sister in law's spring wedding--but maybe for a diet breaker after the big day. : )
