I've seen various versions of white chocolate popcorn floating around the internet. With all of the great Valentine's Day candy available, I decided to make some of my own!
What you need:
- popcorn (I used microwave. I know, fresh would be better.)
- white chocolate almond bark
- milk chocolate almond bark
- valentine's candy (I used M&M's and cherry JuJu hearts. They had chocolate covered JuJu hearts at the store, but they wouldn't have looked as pretty!)
- wax paper
Pop up your popcorn. After it's popped, put it in a big bowl.
Add your candy in. (Mine all sunk to the bottom. You could actually probably wait and add the candy as you add the almond bark.)
Put your white chocolate almond bark in a microwave safe bowl, and melt it down in intervals, stirring in between.
When it is all melted, stir it in with your popcorn. Make sure you get your candies from the bottom if you were awesome like me and had them all sink to the bottom of the bowl!
Lay out your wax paper on the counter. Spread your popcorn on to the counter.
In a small bowl, melt some milk chocolate almond bark. Just a little bit.
Drizzle it over your popcorn.
When it is dry and hardened, break it into pieces and put it in a cute bowl for people to munch on.
Yum!
