Have you all heard about the relatively newer blog I AM?

Megan, from the Brassy Apple, is the brains behind this reader based, photography blog.

The concept behind this blog is simple. We are all more than the labels and categories that ourselves and others put us into. Megan shares how she believes that as women and mothers, we often capture the moments that make up our lives from behind the camera. The idea is to have all of us share those moments with each other - to learn and grow from one another, as well as to uplift one another.

Each month has a theme. February was LOVE.

Recognize those two little ladies?

Another personal favorite of mine from February - sweet nectar.

This month, the theme is SURVIVOR. I have been so touched by some of the survivor stories that have been shared.

Like this one about being in remission from cancer. My dad has beat cancer twice, so this hits home to me.

I can also relate to this post about being a miscarriage survivor, after suffering a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy myself.

Here's what Megan has to say:

"We are more than just............women, mothers, teachers, stay at home moms, working moms, single, divorced, married, tall, short, blonde, brunette.........."I AM" will let you declare through a photo bits of yourself and your daily life to share with other women."

The success of this blog comes from YOU - from all of US. You submit your photos to Megan each month, with a sentence or two describing your photo. They can be professional photos, or candid snapshots. You can be in the picture, or behind the camera. It just simply doesn't matter!

April's theme was recently announced: I AM ME!

Email your photos and description to Megan, and start following this incredible journey that is bringing us all together!
