** GIVEAWAY CLOSED **
Growing up, I was an avid scrapbooker. I've got books that go all the way back to high school, and up until I started having kids. Once those turkeys came along, it got a little more tough to keep on top of things, and I kind of threw in the towel and devoted my time to one scrapbook per year for each kid, and making sure I kept current on our family blog.
Scrapbooking is a wonderful way to preserve memories, but what I find difficult about it is all the stuff. You need your paper, your accessories, your adhesives - there are so many wonderful products available these days for scrapbooking, but as a poor person whose husband is still in school, it can get expensive!
Not only that, but we live in a smaller home, so I have no craft room (I vow to change that one day!), which means that whenever I want to work on anything, I've got to pull it out of it's storage spot, and clutter up my kitchen table. Then pack it all up so that we can eat our meals. If you've ever scrapbooked, you know that just one or two pages can end up taking one or two hours! Who has that kind of time for such a small result?
Enter in My Memories.

My Memories is a digital scrapbooking software that you can download on to your computer. It comes with all sorts of background, layouts, and accessories - along with a store full of things to purchase when you're ready for some new ones.
The software is so easy to use! I opened it right up, and was able to get going on a scrapbook for our family. It was a pre-made layout, so the backgrounds and layout of each page was already there for me; all I had to do was start plugging in pictures and text!
There are some fun accessories, like buttons, brads, and ribbons, so it's easy to personalize it in a way that's pleasing to you.

With My Memories, you have the option of printing directly on to your home printer, or you can save your files and have them printed elsewhere. I don't know about you, but I love the convenience of this!

And storage? It's all neat and tidy on my laptop!
I also made this little calendar. Houndstooth? In lots of different colors? Be still my heart!

You could laminate just one page, and use a dry erase marker to write in the dates for the month, or you could make 12 pages, and bind them into a calendar to hang. What a perfect gift!
Think you might like to try out this scrapbook software?
