** GIVEAWAY CLOSED **
Okay, raise your hand if you like fabric.
And raise your hand if you like to sew.
I'm guessing a lot of you are looking pretty silly, sitting in front of your computer raising your hands. It's okay, I'm right there with you!
I'm excited to introduce a fun blog and shop to you today that can satisfy both of those needs for you: Yards & Yards.
Yards & Yards is run by Anna. She's got the blog side of her business, as well as the shop side of her business. Here's Anna to tell you a little bit more about herself.
"Hi! I'm Anna and I'm the gal behind Yards and Yards. I have had an obsession with fabrics and sewing since I was a little girl and I used to raid my mother's lace stash. When my husband and I were in college, expecting our first son, I decided that $150 was WAY too much to pay for a crib set, so I bought a $100 sewing machine and I haven't looked back!
Yards and Yards began when people started asking me, "Where did you get that," and it was something I had just whipped up on my own. I decided to try to make my ideas into patterns and share them with other crafters. My patterns are all easy and I include all sorts of pictures and diagrams to make it as simple as can be. I LOVE to see what my customers make with my patterns and I thrill when I know that the gifts I make people are loved and appreciated. From plush stockings to ruffled baby quilts, and my mini-cell phone bag to bunting flags for those special occasions, you'll always find fun patterns and my FAVORITE fabrics at the Yards and Yards shop!! Enjoy browsing and drop me a line any time. I'm always happy to help out in any way I can."
Doesn't she sound fabulous? I'm pretty sure we would be good friends in real life.
Here are a few pictures to get you excited.
Don't you love the bunting in the background of this picture? So whimsical and fun. Anna shows you how to make your own!

I'm a total fabric buying junkie, and Anna doesn't help me want to be good when she sells gorgeous bundles like this!

Quilting is definitely not something I know how to do, but I bet I could learn with the help of Anna's pattern. It would be worth it for a beautiful finished product like this!

Christmas is going to be sneaking up on us soon. I've been thinking since last Christmas that I want to make some new stockings for my little family. Anna's pattern would give me just the boost I need!

I don't know about all of you, but I'm a total bag lady. I love having bags for different things: for church, for going to grandma's house, for going to the pool, etc. This ruffle bag pattern would give me another fun bag to find a purpose for!

Anna also sells finished products. Maybe I could just have her whip up a bunch of stockings for me, since the more pregnant I get, the lazier I'm sure to get. These ruffled ones are just perfect with the new Heirloom line!

Are you sufficiently interested? Thinking you need to get sewing right now?
Well, Anna has graciously offered to give away three patterns from her Yards & Yards shop, which means we will have three winners - one pattern to each winner!
