.:Market Yourself Monday - Lace Ruffle Skirt:.

Happy Labor Day!

Are you all enjoying some time off with family and friends?

This past week has been full of lots of fun for me! I got to head up to Ogden to meet up with a boat load of other creative women at the Vintage Cupcake Co. I had a blast car pooling with some other ladies, and then we spent the evening chatting, laughing, and stuffing ourselves with delicious cupcakes. I even won a fabulous table from Tausha of Sassy Style Redesign. I haven't taken a picture of it yet, but I promise I will. You will be jealous.

I totally jacked these pictures from Lara of Less Cake {More Frosting}. Thanks Lara!

It makes me so happy to live in such a mecca of creative ladies! I don't know how I've weasled my way into the creative circle, but I'm having so much fun getting to know so many wonderful people!

Back Row: We put the babies in order of age from youngest to oldest, starting with our little lady: Me (Sumo), Ashlee (Topsy Turvy), Tam (Sew Dang Cute), Michelle (Someday Crafts), Kari (UCreate), Amanda (Every Creative Endeavor), Lara (Less Cake {More Frosting})

After that fun evening, my mom came into town (she left this morning....sniff, sniff) and we had waaaaaay too much fun. There was lots of good food, shopping, and chatting. It's always a treat when she comes to visit, and we were all sad to see her go! She spoils us rotten when she's here, and it's so fun for my girls to have some time with her!

Since I've been so busy playing, I haven't had much time to work on something new. But don't worry, I still have something to share with you. I made this skirt awhile ago, and shared it on Naptime Crafters a couple of weeks ago.

I kind of love it, and promise to show you how to make one tomorrow!

Now it's time to see what you've been working on! And don't worry, if you are too busy enjoying your weekend today to link up, you've got all week long to come back and do it. The party goes until Friday nite, and I'll be looking for some ideas to feature on Saturday!

Happy Linking!
