Did you all have a good weekend?
Ours was BUSY.
We had fun Friday nite, grilling pizza with our friends. Once kids were in bed, my bestie and I had a sewing party at my house while our husbands watched football at her house. It was pretty much perfect.
Saturday was a whirlwind! I frosted about 50 sugar cookies and 40 cupcakes for my daughter's princess party. I got it all set up during their nap time, and then the festivities began. We got the best surprise ever: my mom showed up to the party! She drove from Oregon, which is a 10-11 hour drive, with her friend, just so they could be there for a day and she could come to my daughter's birthday party. I'm pretty sure that has earned her grandma of the year award! She already had it in the bag, but that really sealed the deal if you ask me!
The princess party was lots of crazy fun, and my daughter now owns almost every Disney princess barbie that there is. Combine that with her Rapunzel dress up dress, and she's pretty much on cloud nine.
I don't know how three years have passed since this sweet babe
turned into this beautiful little girl!
Time just keeps going faster and faster!
Since it's birthday time for her, and half birthday time for my one year old, we're spending some quality time with our pediatrician this morning getting shots. I've got my bag loaded with mini M&M's and suckers, so hopefully the fallout won't be too bad.
While we're suffering at the doctor this morning, I'll leave you with my project to share this week. I made this lunch bag few weeks ago, and we've made good use out of it on our outings to the children's museum, parks, and aquarium.
I'll show you how to make one tomorrow!
