So, today's post was already written and set to post.

I failed to mention one other thing that I did over the weekend because it had not happened at the time I wrote the post:

I had a baby!

Our sweet little gal came almost three weeks early (still full term), surprising us all! Typically, our babies do not come early - my girls were due date babies pretty much. So we definitely weren't expecting this!

I got to go into labor on my own at home, which was exciting for me because I'd never done that before. It was a cool experience for sure - although definitely a painful one, too!

Our little lady had a super quick and super easy delivery. She tipped the scales at a rockin' 5 lbs 11 oz and is 19.25 in long. Basically, she's a little string bean.

And we are totally and completely smitten with her.

I'll be doing my best to keep up on the blog and emails over the next few weeks. Then watch out December; I've got a month of fabulous guest posters set up to let me take a little break, and you won't want to miss a single day!

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a scrumptious little baby to snuggle.
