.:Review - Old Barn Rescue:.

I'm sure you all remember my fabulous sponsor, Old Barn Rescue. They specialize in vinyl decor, as well as upcycled decor.

I had the opportunity to review a vinyl item from their site, and I decided to do this Subway Style Family Rules.

This was my first experience dealing with putting a vinyl decoration of this size. It is large! But those people at Old Barn Rescue have your back. The vinyl came with instructions for how to hang up your vinyl straight, using markings and painters tape to secure your vinyl before you start peeling away your layers to leave the vinyl adhered to the wall. I would have never thought of that!

We chose to put this at the top of our stairs, so my husband was the one applying it to the wall (he doesn't trust me on a ladder!) I have to admit, it was kind of fun to see him doing vinyl and explaining to him how to do it! I should have taken a picture!

The vinyl went on pretty well, overall. There were a few areas where the vinyl just really wanted to stay attached to the transfer paper, but I think that blame may lie with us; we didn't clean off the wall before we put the vinyl up, so maybe it just didn't want to stick to a dirty wall!

I totally love how it looks! It just adds to our wall space, and helps it to not look so empty in that area.

Did you know that Old Barn Rescue also offers the Subway Style Family Rules with font variation, too?

Along with tons of other vinyl decor; I'm sure you'd have no trouble finding something to fit your home! Head on over to Old Barn Rescue and see what you can find!
