Happy almost Monday!
How was your weekend, folks?
Ours was quite lovely. We spent Friday evening at our friends’ house, eating delicious grilled chicken and veggies. Saturday was house cleaning day, lunch with my brother and his fam, and a nice afternoon drive around some neighborhoods to look at stucco colors for our new house. We’re leaning towards a sage-ish green with gray stones and a black roof, in case you were wondering.
Were you all super impressed that I got Showcase Saturday up? If you’re not, you should be. I’m even going to try to do it again this week. Proud?
My goal this week is to get some of my sewing done. I keep buying fabric and adding to my to do list, but I am not keeping up with the actual sewing part! I’ve decided that no more buying fabric until I’ve sewn everything I want to get done. And then after that, it’s going to be projects for our new house.
I guess I keep alluding to our new house, but I don’t think I ever really said: We’re building! It’s just a couple streets over, and we’re super excited. I’ve started a board on Pinterest of ideas of things I might want to do to our new house. Feel free to leave suggestions or links!
Also, Sumo's Sweet Stuff is .com now! I don't know if I really did the switch right, but if you need/want to update or follow along with GFC, then you'll need to go to the new address:

This week I’m sharing a sewing project that I posted on The Ribbon Retreat blog a few weeks ago: this adorable peek-a-boo shirt! I really love it, and want to make some more.
I’ll show you how I did it tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteGrilled chicken and veggies. Yummy. The peak a boo shirt looks good. It most be nice to have a guinea pig like your daughter to try on things you create.
