.:Popcorn Party & Lifestyle Crafts:.

I was thrilled when I found out I would get to try out the new Big Top line of dies from Lifestyle Crafts because it was as I was planning Remi’s popcorn party, and there was totally popcorn on the die!

I used the die, using the popcorn part to make the labels for the various kinds of popcorn we had at the party.

Don’t you love how they turned out?

Popcorn makes me happy. Perfectly labeled popcorn makes me even more happy.

I also used the envelope tabs to make a pennant for the birthday girl’s cupcake. Pretty much turned out adorable, don’t you think?

Remember, you can use the code SUMO to get 20% off from Lifestyle Crafts!

As you can see, Lucy II (my Silhouette CAMEO) got in on the label making action as well!

Leading up to the party, I created a Popcorn Party board on Pinterest.

Here are the popcorn recipes I used:

- Cinnamon Bear

- Snickers

- M&M

- S’Mores

- Mother Goose (my recipe is slightly different, but this is basically the same)

- Trail Mix

- Ranch (you just mix your popcorn with melted butter and dry ranch mix)

- Peanut Butter Cup

- Oreo (just melted white chocolate bark, mixed it with crushed Oreos)

Luckily I didn’t have to make all of these! But even then, my kitchen was a popcorn sweat shop until about midnite the nite before the party. I am awesome and didn’t start making anything until about 5:00 p.m. Go me.

I made a ribbon banner/backdrop, using this as my inspiration. I used ribbon instead of fabric. And guess what? It doubles as a fantastic tutu now!

(Don’t mind the ugly picture behind it. We used our community clubhouse, and unfortunately, that picture is there and I can’t move it!)

I also made the Remster this banner using Lucy and some sticker chipboard glitter letters.

And here are the little party favor boxes. Again, I used Lucy to make the vinyl ‘R’s and filled them with Mother Goose popcorn.

And the cupcakes! Super easy, super delicious. The idea is from here.

And of course, the most important part of the entire party was this beautiful girl.

Seriously, how can she be two????

What do you think? Did I pull off the popcorn party?
