.:Handmade Cards the Easy Way:.

In our digital age, hand written letters and handmade cards are becoming more and more rare. But thanks to the new David Tutera Celebrate line, even the most craft impaired or time crunched person can have that personal feel!

The Celebrate line is available exclusively at Joann Fabric & Craft stores, and you are not going to believe how simple it is to create that perfect personal touch.

I used the Celebrate line to whip up a card for a baby shower, as well as a thank you card.

The steps are simple. It is a three step system, making it super simple to create the perfect card. You start with step one, which is your card base.

The packages are clearly labeled, so it really is fool proof!

Step two is a layering element. There are embossed layers, die cut layers, and borders.

Again, clearly labeled to make it easy!

Step three is embellishing! The Celebrate line comes with a variety of tags, twine, stickers, die cut shapes, and more - there is something for whatever your event!

SDC12298

For my thank you card, I started off with a metallic card base.

Then I snagged a fun embossed layer in a shiny black cardstock.

I wanted to just use the simple 'thanks' sticker, and decided to border it with black marker before placing it on a tag.

SDC12302

Use some glue dots to adhere your tag and layer, and you are done!

SDC12304

Easy as 1-2-3, right! It gave me time to whip up a baby shower card, too.

SDC12305

All the cards come with envelopes, too, so you don't even have to worry about that, either!
