I finally settles on the Anya dress.

I think this dress is gorgeous! And the ruffles? We love ruffles around here! I think this dress would be so pretty in a satin or taffeta as a holiday dress, don’t you?

Here is what I made using this pattern.

I seriously can’t get over the size of those ruffles. They make me really happy!

This pattern is wonderful! It is full of pictures and clear directions to guide you through each step.

And then you get a finished product like this – it’s beautiful! My daughter didn’t take it off for a good two hours after we had our little photo shoot.

I love the button detail on the back, and as I’ve already gushed, the full ruffle along the shoulders. The front and back around the neck are lined, which I also like. The tie in back really helps with the shape of the dress.

I’ve just never sewn anything like this dress, and I love how unique and beautiful it is!

Little Dress Pattern also offers matching doll patterns for their dresses! I didn’t have time to sew one up with all of the sickness that has been raging at my house, but I certainly plan to in the future. I’ve got a few little girls who would absolutely love to match their dolls!
