.:Market Yourself Monday:.

Happy Sunday!

How was your weekend? Our was full of birthday parties, cousin time, cleaning, and grocery shopping. And while I can’t say that I totally enjoy the process of cleaning my house, there is something about a freshly mopped floor that makes me pretty happy. We were also able to get rid of the makeshift baby gate we had at the top of our stairs because our one year old is great on the stairs now! We can’t keep her off them, in fact! She thinks she’s pretty cool.

We’re also in a little celebratory sort of mood because we went an entire week without anyone getting sick. Don’t worry, I’m knocking on wood like crazy over here; the last thing I want to do is jinx ourselves! I don’t know how it’s been where you live, but here in Utah, the cold has been brutal. So brutal that the few days we’ve had that have broken 20 degrees actually almost felt like spring; the sun was shining, the icicles were melting….I know, it’s still January and the end of winter is a long way off. But I can definitely appreciate the false sense of spring while it lasts.

I’ve been pretty busy working on some sewing for my girls (which of course I’ll be sharing with you), as well as a little Valentine’s project that I’ll be sharing with you this week. But before we get to this week’s party, I want to introduce you to a new Facebook page called The Daily Sew. A small group of sewing bloggers (including me, yay!) are combining forces to bring you the latest and greatest in sewing techniques, products, and tutorials. The page just went live this weekend, and we’ll be sharing posts soon, so be sure to hop over and like the page so you don’t miss anything!

And one last item of business, and then I promise I will be quiet! If you are interested in doing a Feature Friday guest post, be sure to shoot me an email! I’d love to have you share an original post on my site! Email me at sumossweetstuff@gmail.com with your post idea(s) and your top three Friday posting dates, and we’ll get the ball rolling!

Now, enough of my yammering. The most viewed from last week’s party was:

I’ll be looking for features for Showcase Saturday, so get your link on!

  21. Sumo,

I just discovered your blog today while visiting Lauren at "The Thinking Closet" Wow! You really know how to use your cricut machine! I've had mine for almost 3 years and hardly ever use it. You must have excellent time management skills to be able to raise your children, create all that you do, manage a household, write a beautiful blog and host this huge blog party! I linked-up today and I'm way.....down at number 365! Do you really go through each link or is there a way to see which link gets the most clicks and that is who gets featured? As you can see.......I'm a newbie and I started my blog almost 2 years ago ha! I'm not all that great at multi-tasking and social media!

Thanks for leaving a comment! I love reading them! I try to reply to questions the best I can, but you can always email me at sumossweetstuff {at} gmail {dot} com.
