.:A Giant Surprise: Green Giant Snack Chips:.

Like many people, I have a love/hate relationship with the scale. I had three babies in three years, which never gave me much time to really drop all of the baby weight. And sadly, I am not blessed with the genes that seem to course through the rest of my family (in laws included!) where you just seem to be skinny after having kids. Real fair, right?

So I’m always on the lookout for new, healthier snacks that I can keep on hand – not only for myself, but for my family as well. My girls would love to survive on a junk food diet if they could, but I want to set up good lifestyle habits for them now. Or at least try to. You know, we still love the sweets in this house.

Luckily, Green Giant has a giant surprise for all of us: new Veggie Snack Chips!

You guys. These are amazing. You see, I love potato chips. Like LOVE. To the point where I really can’t even have them in the house because I have zero self control. These new Veggie Snack Chips from Green Giant are a fantastic tasting, and healthier alternative to greasy potato chips. The Sea Salt chips were light and crunchy, and the Tortilla Chips tasted just like a regular cheesey chip! They were incredible!

And I say were because between the five of us in our family, we polished off both bags in about two days. It wasn’t hard to do. At all.

I don’t even feel bad about it because these chips have 40% less fat than regular potato chips, can you believe that? That’s huge! I’m pretty sure she’s a fan of that as well, don’t you think?

  1. Gawd I know exactly where you're coming from. I had two kids and its tough when you get to a certain age (arrrgggh!). The good news is your not alone and the better news is that there are so many healthy snacks out there, if youre that way inclined (thats where I struggle!). I can't eat any dairy, wheat or soy, which does help with the weight I have to say, but I absolutely can't go without my sugar fix every day and I am not talking healthy, I mean its gotta be bad!! So today's been a chocolate cake day, I will blog about it later. At least know you're not alone. Thanks for sharing, will have to look out for them.xxx
