Glow Bracelet Ring Toss

Hello again my favorite Sumo’s Sweet Stuff friends!  I am so happy to be back here this month!  It’s been HOT in my neck of the woods and I needed something for my kids to do inside while we took a break from the heat!  This Glow Stick Ring Toss Game was just the thing and I thought I’d share with you!

(Pssst….there may or may not be a Silhouette Cameo Giveaway going on right now at my place along with a DecoArt giveaway!)
Last October I made this cute little Boo Bowling game from up-cycled milk containers.  I am a big fan of multi-tasking projects so I borrowed those from my Halloween bin and filled them with some dry white beans that I used as the vase filler for my Firecracker Centerpiece.  This gave the milk containers a bit of weight and they would be sturdy enough to toss plastic rings at it!
Next I headed to my local Dollar Tree and picked up 4 packs of Glow Stick Bracelets.  I have also spotted these in the Dollar Bins at Target too!
Crack them open and get them glowing!  I bent some into single rings and then others I added two glow sticks to make the rings a bit larger for my little guy.
I set up the pins on one side of the room and then gave the boys the glowing rings on the other side, turned out the lights and listened to them play and laugh for more than an hour!   They loved it.  After the fact I realized that if I put a glow stick inside the milk container that made it “extra cool” from the mouth of my babe!  They could try to get the orange rings on the orange pin and could generally just see the pins better!  They loved it!

They had so much fun!  I hope you will also stop by to grab some free Chalkboard First Day of School Printables for your little ones on their first day of school.  Thanks for hanging out with me today and thanks to Sumo for having me over again!
